Who was the hunter, and who was the hunted? The race of Sunborn matured late in life. Women were encouraged to bear children and to find suitable men to father those children. Synda of Datyl was one such woman. The object of her hunt was Davyd Yorkson of the prestigious House of York. Davyd didn't object to being hunted, but things got complicated when he actually fell in love with Synda. Creating worlds and civilizations is a daunting task, though Ellen Anthony pulls it off well. Characters within that civilization, though, are superficial. All in all, however, this is an interesting read. Date: 2000-04-20 The Manhunter This book is an excellent science fiction romance. The character's of Synda and Davyd come alive as he escort's her to his homeland. They have several misadventures that keeps the reader engrossed in this adventure. When in his homeland, they go their separate ways. Then we meet Davyd intreging family as well as the court to which Synda of Datyl has come for preparation to do her manhunt. This book has lots of interesting sub-stories that add to the general excellent quality of the whole story. Date: 2000-04-03 The Manhunter Once you start to read this book, You will find it hard to put down. The action is fast and has lots of twists that will keep you guessing right up to the end. It's a fun read and I can hardly wait for another book from this author. Will there be a sequel?
