A must have for the "road warrior"
After a Toshiba laptop, an HP 620lx handheld, this is the only PDA that goes everywhere. With literally thousands of applications, I quit taking a day planner with me on trips. Especially useful is the "find" function if I lose track of data. Check out the games, i.e. klondike and emerald quest. Also link to a GPS and use mapping software. Great investment.....Be wary of CE devices that hog batteries

Muy buen producto
Excelente PDA.

Can't Miss With This
The Palm III wins hands down for battery life, ease of use, and variety and quality of available third party software. Most reviews I read complain about the Graffiti handwriting system. It took me 20 minutes of practice to get used to the system and learn most of the characters I use regularly. They even include a Tetris-like game called Giraffe to help you learn in a fun way.

The standard applications are solid. You'll probably want to download and install some of the excellent freeware and shareware available at several on-line stores for Palm software. I'd recommend a durable carrying case, but with the included screen cover, you don't have to rush to make this purchase. At least two dozen different styles are available, so you'll easily find one to fit your needs.

I average about three weeks for battery life, and I use my Palm III daily. I've been using the rechargeable Ray-O-Vacs, and have no complaints. I've had the Palm since mid-May and have never regretted my purchase. It's quick, versatile, durable, easy to use, and fun as well as functional. END

The greatest thing since laptops.
This tool will become indispensable to you after a few days of use. This is a practical replacement for a heavy and expensive laptop for those individuals who mainly use the laptop for email access. You will find that it replaces your daytimer as well, but has the additional convenience of electronic updates from your desktop. The one button hot sync capability is incredibly easy. It assures that you will have the latest information from your desktop machine, and provides the ability to recover all of your information should you happen to back your car over the PalmIII.

My Palm III changed my life.
I've used a planner since 1980 when I was a military recruiter. On April 26, I received a Palm III for my birthday. It was so much more convenient for managing my day, contacts, and appointments as a financial consultant that I did away with my daytimer completely within a week.
