User Submitted Handspring Visor Serial Hotsync Cradle (Ice) ReviewsDate: 2003-02-21 too long and wrong product it took me a month to get my order and then it is the wrong cradle. the seller did not specify which cradle this was for in his discription and i recieved the wrong color i recieved metal gray not "ICE". all i can say is thanks for nothing! Date: 2002-03-25 Perfect cradle I have a Serial at work and a USB at home. Both are perfect. 2 years and no flaws. Well done Handspring! Buy it! Date: 2001-03-22 Must have for Win NT or non-USB equiped PC Owners This is a must if you don't have a USB port, or if your running Win NT. Goes without saying that synching with a serial device isn't as fast as with the USB cradle, but it does get the job done. I use the USB cradle at home and the serial cradle at the office. Date: 2001-01-14 Get Two Cradles If you are going to start using a PDA, like the Visor Deluxe, consider two cradles if you work outside the home. Having two places to do my "to do list" is worth the $... alone. I did not like the ice color at first, but I am fine with it now. The unit worked perfectly out of the box, and so far connects every time. The Visor became a "killer application" for me, so the need for the two cradles was evident from the start. Date: 2001-01-08 USB or Serial Excellent cradles either way. I use the USB cradle at home and a serial one at work. You can't tell the difference in speed. The hot sync button on the cradle works like a champ.
