Casio E-125
I thought I really liked this ppc until I bought Pocket Facelift and completely fell in love with it all over again! It has the look and feel of a PocketPC200 device with the facelift software loaded. I can close programs easily now, manage my storage card, menus vastly improved and overall visually improved. I can use Themes like the 2002 devices. Only drawback is the Storage/Program Memory slider. Its autoconfigured. I liked to slide the memory more to the left to make more speed for the device. It's just as fast this way, but that's the only difference. Anyone who wants or already has an E-125 should get the Pocket Facelift software. The difference is unbelieveable. I use the ppc way more now.

Great for what it is - an alternative to the Palm
This PDA is what I personally was looking for, but it's not for everyone. Here's why I chose it:

- It's not tiny. Unlike most people, I really didn't want something I could slip in my pocket and barely notice it was there - because for me, that is a recipe for a lost PDA. Plus, when I tried out the Palms and Sony PDAs they were not very sturdy to hold by comparison.
- It's Windows-driven. Again, a personal choice. I wanted something with a minimal learning curve, and being PC proficient this was the best choice.
- It's got a nice, big, color screen. I certainly paid extra for this feature, and I'm glad I did, as I didn't want to squint at the screen at all to tell what I was looking at.
- It has a huge memory. I was able to load entire MS Word and Excel files from work and then hot-sink them to my home PC when I had to bring work home with me.
- The support online and on the phone was excellent. I'm a novice with this kind of technology, but never felt like I was asking a 'dumb' question when I had a problem.

Granted, I only use a fraction of the features this item has, so I can't speak to some of the more fancy features like the wireless email. Plus, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that wherever you buy your PDA, online or in a store, you go in person to a store to try out the different models. Without doing this I probably would have just bought a Palm - a great choice for some, but not for me - and because I made the effort to go and shop around in person I made a good choice for my needs and quirks.

A couple of caveats:
- Get a decent carrying case other than what they provide, it's pretty flimsy.
- Get an extra back-up battery! They do run out, and quicker than you think.
- It doesn't come with an extra hot-sink cradle and for the price, it really should. You'll need it if you are using it both at work and home.

The Best PDA Ever
This is a solid gold PDA, I checked the newest Compaq, the functionality can not even come close to Casio's. CFC Slot, 32 MB memory included. Brilliant screen, and meat body. Can't beat this monster.
You can even over clock it.

Not too portable
Great if you need the computing capability of a computer. Too large to fit into most pockets. Less software for the Windows CE than the palm.

This Pocket PC is the BOMB!!!
I am not a very technical but I love this thing. It has shown me so many new things that a handheld can do. I have downloaded MP3 music with ease through my media player on my pc and I have downloaded my e-mails and also I have registered with AVANTGO to get my websites to browse through. I LOVE it!!!!! and I can't wait to learn even more about this product. But I would suggest to anyone who is going to purchase this product or any Pocket PC for that matter, you might want to invest in getting the Pocket PC for Dummies book. It has helped me alot. Even though it is vague in it's direction it still gives you some sort of idea as to how to perform a particular function. And most of all, FOLKS, READ YOUR HAND BOOKS THEY WILL BE MOST HELPFUL!!!!!! As far as the lady asking how to delete a recording, just press and hold the particular title of the recording and a menu should come up, one of them being delete. Then click delete and there you go, it's gone.
