User Submitted PalmOne m515 Color Handheld ReviewsDate: 2010-02-23 Palm m515 Excellent value for the money but couldn;t get it to work with Windows 7. The tech support people at Renew Electronics were very helpful. When we finally dedided to give up trrying to make it work, they were very prompt in givving me a full refund. I would buy from them again. I eventually bought a Palm TX aand it works with Windows 7. Date: 2010-01-21 Older item- compatibility issues!!! BEWARE!!! I got this product for Christmas this year (2009), and have had nothing but trouble. Because this is an older device, most operating systems do not support it. It would connect to my computer, but would not share any data; I could not back up my date book or contacts. This is considered a 'Legacy' device by Palm, and is no longer supported; you have to pay for customer service from them, or plow through the message boards to try to find an answer. The problem with that, though, is the posts pertaining to this device are so old themselves, they won't help you. The item itself I purchased refurbished, and it had a new battery in it; the battery life was about the only plus. Now that I have been using it about a month (and it has crashed twice, taking all of my data with it) the screen is going out. The m515 does have an SD card slot (no larger than 1gb, though, is supported) but if you can't get your data into your computer, you can't back it up to the card- so if the battery ever runs completely down on this, you lose everything. Too much risk for me- I'm sending it back. Date: 2009-12-06 Discontinued Product Great product that has been discontinued. If you need technical help it costs $25.95, but is very helpful. Con for the product is that you cannot replace the battery without special tools. Date: 2009-11-13 Good PDA if that's all you need Product works as advertised... The only gripes I have are, the battery doesn't seem to last all that long, and I hate having to use the cradle to charge it. Also, I hate the cradle in general, I'd rather just have had a cable that can be used. But overall, I like it. Date: 2009-11-02 Palm m515 Item works as expected. Shipper sent in a very timely period and service was excellent. I would use this shipper again.
