The Belkin USB Sync Charger lets you synchronize and charge your Sony Clie T/SL/SJ/NR/NX Series handheld with the same cable. It has a mobile, lightweight design, which is perfect for travelers. Now you can transfer your data without a bulky cradle and charge through any powered USB port. As an added benefit, the kit includes a USB cigarette lighter adapter that converts the cable for use in your vehicle.

Works as advertised. Computer needs to be on.
This cable works as indicated. My Clie charges as expected. The HotSync worked right out of the box with no problems. The only negative is that the computer needs to be on during recharging. This is a bit inconvenient. But cannot really complain since it comes with a car adaptor.

Perfect!
Excellent! I bought two of these for less than the cost of one cradle (an item that appears to be near extinction these days, as far as the Clie is concerned). A quick look at the specs on the Belkin site indicated that this device also works with the TJ series, and that was all I needed to know. Hot Synch and charge without the bulky power brick that comes included with the Clie. Takes up virtually no space on your desk, so you can plug it into the USB port and leave it there, or roll it up, shove it in your pocket, and take it with you. An absolute essential!

It comes with a car adapter, as well as just being a USB adapter.

And for such a low price, you can't go wrong.

Great product for Clie T-series
This product lets you charge your Clie T-Series using only the USB interface. No more cradles or cumbersome charges to carry when traveling. A plus: mine came with a car adapter, not mentioned in the product description.
