Tungsten C Support!
Tungsten C is a great product when it is working but when you need support forget about it. The support number you call is not a toll-free number and they keep you on hold so long that you don't even want to bother. When you finally get a hold of someone they can hardly speak the english language. PALM SUPPORT is the worst and the next time I think about buying a new PDA I will probably get another brand. It is too bad that this company can't back the great product that they sell!!!!

The best Palm I've ever owned
I've had my Tungsten C for 6 months now and it is the best Palm I have ever owned (and I've been through quite a few). At first I thought I wouldn't like the thumb keyboard, boy was I wrong - it is one of the features I like the best. You can enter text so quickly, compared to using grafitti. And the Wifi access. Another great feature. All-in-all I highly recommend it. If only the screen was bigger.

Palm is great if you never need service
I was considering this or a T5 after my T3 died within the warranty period as I needed someting to work with while waiting for repair. In December 04 I sent the T3 in for repair after talking with support. It came back within 7 days! However I soon found that Palm sent the same T3 back to me unrepaired with no explanation.

Back to support calls again, they say to send it in again. They get it on January 24th. I get no notification they have it. (Glad I sent it Fed Ex to check delivery!) I call mid February and am told it will ship Feb 23. It is now March 15 and no T3 and no word from Palm. The so called repair status on thier website which is supposedly updated hourly has not changed since 1/25/05.

Tried calling again today and after a 15 minute wait was hung up on. I emailed, so will see what they say now. My T3 has been out of service for over 3 months. I went switched to Pocket PC in January. This was my second Palm, I was a big Palm supporter - not any more. I advise not to buy Palm unless you can afford to buy a new one if it dies within a few months.

AWESOME PDA
I have owned my Tungsten C for well over a year now. It is outstanding. I have not had one problem with it. I would highly recommend it!

I love the built-in keyboard. As someone who did not like the Graffiti writing, this feature has allowed me use my Palm on a regular basis.

Additionally, the Wi-Fi is great! I have used it in hotels, on college campuses, coffeeshops - never with a problem. It's a bit hard to read webpages on the screen due to the size of the Palm, but that cannot be avoided.

don't buy it - wifi is bad and you get no support
Please read and re-read another the review that has the title of:
"Don't buy this for the WiFi!" - this review hits the nail on the head. I have been a palm user since 1996, starting with the Palm Pilot Professional model. I have owned the Tungsten C for over a year and a half, and when I updated the firmware (update 3), wifi became completely useless. I've tried to contact palm, but this has gone no where (I was on hold for over 20 minutes before they hung up on me). I am never buying a Palm one device again. There have been many reports of this problem (wifi connection problem that occurs due to firmware update in conjunction with a hardware issue), but Palm One has done nothing - absolutley nothing. They haven't acknowldeged the problem, and they haven't done any sort of customer support service to fix this issue.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this expensive device. There is no one that stands behind it. Something like the Sharp Zaurus would be a much better choice. There are also plenty of Windows CE devices that would fit the bill.
