The one thing I would like to comment on that others did'nt is that this model only comes with a serial port hookup, so if you have a newer computer or laptop without a serial port your going to be looking for a cheap serial to usb converter like i did. Make a note! Date: 2005-11-17 Didn't last long at my house. Purchased for 11 year old boy. A few weeks being tossed around in the backpack was the end of it. The screen was hard to view, not enough definition. After using my Palm with color and great graphics, it looked cheap and tacky. Worked well enough for what it was, but not very hardy. It really needs a better cover to protect the screen from scratches (and from being shattered, which is what happened to this one). Date: 2005-10-02 doesn't hold any info! i have 3+ phone numbers for many of my friends, but this organizer only lets me enter two of them. plus, after you enter the phone #, it doesn't let you type "cell" or "work" or "home" or anything to let you know which # it is! for $19 i won't complain too much, and it's nice to have as a backup in case my other organizer fails me for some reason, but i was hoping for a bit more capabilities. Date: 2005-06-14 beware... just bought this thing. note that the alarm tone is very quiet. when it is in the case, on your hip, you can hardly hear it, if at all. if you want something to beep you, this might not be the item for you. I haven't found any way to increase the volume either. Date: 2005-03-02 good value Just purchased this handy little item as I wanted to test the PDA waters before jumping in on a more expensive model. It works great for what I use it for, phonebook, scheduling, notes, etc... Would be nice if you didn't have to scroll to see entire address lines and if it had a search mode for the scheduler, but very good value overall. If you don't need email, video, phone, etc., then this is definitely worth checking out. Touchpad screen is remarkably accurate and easy to use.
