BEST PDA EVER!
This is a truly great PDA for power/novice users. Compared to SONY's Clie series or other well-known PocketPCs, this palm masterpiece is very light and easy too use. Besides, remember, there are more programs for the PalmOS than Windows CE series yet! If you have this T3, you will love the slide. It makes the PDA more portable. This gadget is very fast (~400 mhz) and has great amount of RAM (64mb) and now u can use both Bluetooth AND Wi-Fi (only if u buy SDIO accessory from PalmOne)! Only downside is the battery life. After using the PDA for while, you can actually upgrade your battery life. Just go to ebay.com and search for battery replacement... You will need it in the future, without any doubt.
Good luck

Excellent , No Problems
Will last me a long long time not an intense user but does everything I need: alarms, PC transfer, games, scheduling, good machine. Buy your accessories at Tangshop.com far cheaper than branded Palm accessories.

The Best PDA on The Market So far
A little history first, I've owned all of the following at one point or another: Palm IIIxe, Handspring Visor Prism, Palm M-105, Palm m130 and finally...the Tungsten T3! If you're reading this review, then you've probably already looked at the others too. Lemme just add my own plug--the best game for T3 is Warring Nations. The mp3 player is the bomb! Photos look stunning, especially in the stretched mode. I have approx 500 photos stored. I have a 1GB SD card with mine and it has all the works of Wm Shakespeare, AC Doyle, Austen, Bronte as well as 100s of other ebooks. Lastly, there's my mp3 collection on the SD card...I have all the works of the Beatles as well as Lennon, McCartney, Harrison & Starr's solo careers after the Beatles broke up.

The only negative I can say is the Web Browser feature is useless, as well as the email feature. I bought a cable from SupplyNET.com that connects the Palm Tungsten T3 to my Verizon Wireless cell phone (Audiovox CDM-8600). After approx 8 hrs on the phone with Palm, Verizon and SupplyNET...the consensus was that the Palm T3 doesn't work with Verizon Wireless.

Good PDA, Bad Product Support
I've had this pda for 7 months now and everything is quite OK except that their phone driver support is really bad. It's either Palmone doesn't have the capability to keep-up with the latest mobile phones or they just simply don't care. Based on their latest Phone_Link_Update (can be found in Palmone's website) file, the latest mobile phone that this device can seamlessly integrate with using bluetooth is the 6310i (from nokia) and T-610 (from Sony-Ericsson). So given this fact, by the time they provide correct phone drivers for the current models, newer ones would have come-up and chances are, you are about to change your phone. So, if you plan on using this PDA (or probably any PDA from Palm) to read/send SMS or dial your phone, either patiently wait for Palm to come-up with the driver for your latest phone or or buy an old phone OR buy a pocket pc instead. I emailed palmone support twice, but got nothing out of it... they even asked me to contact my phone's manufacturer (nokia in my case) so that they (nokia) could ask them (palmone) to create the driver... how convinient...

As for the other not-so-good stuff, the travel charger connection at the bottom of this PDA tends to loose contact easily... this translates to: Don't use this device while charging using the travel charger... another thing is the extended portion of the screen tends to slip back into small-screen position almost with a slightest bump (unless your holding this PDA without any casing, thus being able to support the extended screen with your hand).

The good stuff:
-> battery life is good.
-> bundled apps is good, especially "Documents To Go" it has support for Word, Powerpoint and Excel
-> synchronization is not a problem.
-> Bluetooth: but only if you can use it with some other device

The Best Gadget I've Bought All Year!
This has been a great purchase for me! I have had my Tungsten T3 for about three weeks now, and it has been wonderful! I am a school psychology intern in a school district where money is hard to come by, and computers are too. Being able to put all my documents (especially ones for school, and my portfolio) on my Palm and work on them anywhere I want to has been great. I can keep track of my hours, work on reports, you name it and I do it all on my Palm.

I also keep track of appointments and parent meetings, phone numbers, when I need to test students, and it's all in one place at my fingertips -- not in the trunk of my car with everything else, or in my other school! Everyday I learn something new about it, like that the to do list actually coincides with the calendar feature now, my ancient handspring did nothing of the sort.

IN A NUTSHELL: It's a great PDA that if you look around for deals you can get cheaper than you might think, and with a SD card, your possibilties are endless!
