Useful for busy people
I have had two Palm T5. Is a good product. I do not like the quality (the design is nice) of the graffiti. After 2 months start some minor difficulties.

Great when it works
This is a really nice handheld, but the OS is EXTREMELY BUGGY. Think Windows ME buggy. If you buy this handheld, you must immediately buy Backupbuddy Pro. Other backup programs don't work on this model. Why do you need Backupbuddy? Because at least once a day you will get a Fatal Exception or a Fatal Alert. Every other time this happens, on average, you will lose all of your saved preferences (the file actually becomes corrupted). Then, of course, all of your software becomes unregistered. This means you either have to hard reset and sync to get your preferences back, or restore from Backupbuddy (I just finished doing this as I write this). The nice thing with backupbuddy is that you have to option, unlike a hard reset, of not restoring your calendar, contacts, etc., so if you had entered some new appointments right before the crash, you won't lose those either.

This is actually a 5 star performer, but the crashes really take away your confidence in the machine.

A great disappointment
I have owned a T5 for 7 or 8 months and am sorry to report that it has been a tremendous disappointment in every respect, except for battery life. A confirmed Palm user for many years, I have found data entry to be so difficult that I now actually prefer paper and pencil for both appointments and addresses! Where writing with a stylus on my Palm device used always to be easy, I have found it utterly frustrating on this device. Letter confusion, the inability of the machine to register capitals, numbers and punctuation marks properly has turned the whole process into a nightmare. Since like (I suspect) many business users I rely on my Palm mostly for appointments and addresses, this has made me want to throw the thing across the room on numerous occasions. It seems to me that Palm reached its apogee with the Palm Vx and it has been downhill ever since, at least for someone like myself who wants a practical, easy to use device that won't waste my time. I would advise anyone in my position to steer very clear of this product.

Looked nice but was returned
I got this as a gift for my husband.
It looked nice but he told me it didn't have feature he was looking for, and we returned it.
