WOW!!!
My dear son got this about 1.5 years ago as I high school graduation gift. He took it to college, so who knows what happened to it there, but it just went through the washer and dryer and still works... wow!!

moving on
I have the 512 version of this player for a year. It worked well, but the buttons are so small, navigation was a big problem. My sister tried to use it in the hosp, I just loaded 5 hours of sleepy music, and she couldn't run the buttons. My advice, buy the one with the larger buttons!
sound was great, like using the camera cable from the computer. will buy sandisc again, just not this small.

Great little MP3 player
This MP3 player is a great deal. It holds a lot of music (not quite as much as I own, but then again, I own some stuff I don't listen to on a regular basis.) The display is large enough for me to easily see and work with. The controls are simple to get used to. I don't use the arm band thing, though. The neck cord is sufficient since the player is so light.

A Navigation Nightmare
First off, the small LED screen makes difficult navigation of menus. Product manual is terrible. A great effort is made by San Disk as to how to install the battery, but you really have to download the full manual as the one provided is not adequate. Mine will not play in random. Oddly enough, only the first 15-20 songs will play when I try to do so. I think this is a piece of techno-junk. Too hard to navigate and the small switches are unpredictable as to how long you depress them and when. I pretty much dislike it and plan to upgrade to a larger, non-San Disk player. Customer service is good, but suggestions are usually flawed. I say avoid this player.

great little unit
I don't have much negative to say about this little mp3 player. It was a little frustrating at first because the manual is somewhat limited on instructions, however finding info online was a breeze. It has very nice sound and holds tons of music. Also using Mediaplayer to upload songs onto the device was extremely simple! I have ordered 3 more of these devices as presents and all 3 ppl love them. I've had mine over a year, and not one single problem yet.
