Excellent Budget MP3 Player
This player is generally about $70 in price, and it has even made its way into certain Kmart stores and other such retail stores. For certain people who need a flash MP3 player without spending half of your budget, this player is for you.

Its audio quality is not bad at all, though audiophiles will notice a few slight defects. Don't waste an incredible amount on high-quality good sounding earphones. What you should do is invest in some far more comfortable earbuds.

The stock earbuds that come with it are quite uncomfortable, but have decent audio quality. If you plan on using this often, plan on getting another pair, or using another pair.

The player itself is well made. The screen is a good size, and the backlight is quite helpful in the dark (it's no cheap-o backlight, you truly can see it in the pitchblack). Browsing the player is quite functional, but not for novices. For a usually technologically-savvy consumer such as myself, it took a while to get used to it. However, I am convinced that once you quickly learn how to use the file-system, it's a cinch.

The radio feature works very well considering there isn't any external antenna. There's no way to record FM radio, but that isn't a feature that most look for. The record feature used for recording voice is very well made and is useful for certain things (whatever they may be).

The clear protective case that comes with it is very nice as well. You won't need to purchase one of these for it. The arm band that comes with does get the job done, but it isn't the greatest thing in the world.

All in all, this is quite an audio player for the cheap price. Sandisk is a great company, and they have not failed in entering the MP3 Player market. I highly suggest this to anyone who doesn't feel like forking over $40 or more for a comparable product from a more expensive company.

decent device, horrible service
After only six hours the earphones stopped working. Serveral days of emailing tech support later, SanDisk refuses to send a replacemnet. The display screen is also slow to display. It has no alternative means of power (like an AC adaptor). The radio receiver is a nice addition. The included arm strap is fairly useless.

A cheap but with full functions mp3 player
It is my first mp3 player and just got it a day ago. The sound quality is OK. FM radio receive the signal clearly, seems to be better than my sony walkman. Although the control is a little confused, I am now used to it after several operation according to the instruction on CD. The Quick Guide is almost useless even for a newbie. I am happy it can display Chinese song name after language setting changed.

Happy with my first MP3 player
I didn't want anything too lavish or expensive as my first MP3 player, all I needed was something to play music with an FM radio so I could listen to the televisions during my workouts.

Overall, I'm happy with this product. The joystick, as mentioned in other reviews, IS pretty difficult to use. The menu setup still has me confused. However, it holds more music than I will need for quite some time, and it does exactly what I bought it for.
