User Submitted SanDisk 256 MB MP3 Player Red Reviews (cont...)Date: 2006-07-30 Awesome I am technologically retarded. My faithful old walkman just wasnt cutting it for me anymore though and I knew it was time to trade up. This player is perfect for me. It was so easy to use. I just pulled it out of the box and I was ready to go. I had no problems and I love using it. It is like having the soundtrack to my life being plugged into my brain. Cool. Date: 2006-07-03 Sweet mp3 player This is the best mp3 player if it is your first. I have had it for about 1 1/4 years now and it has survived a week in Mexico, 4 airplain flights, going to and from school allthe time. Here is some pros and cons. + user frendly cotrols + nice digital dsplay / FM tuner is convenent but dosen't get good reception in central maine - havent figured out how to use the FM record - Batery cover sticks out on the back and is awkward to hold Date: 2006-06-29 I love this product This product is amazing! The only thing I didn't like about this product was that there wasn't a lot of space. But I would highly recommend it for excercise. I'm pretty sure that you could never break it. I left mine in my pocket then put it through the wash and it didn't break. If you work out a lot and like to listen to music then buy this product. Date: 2006-05-26 Good value; small, easy design Small design is easily kept out of the way. Comes with a good arm-band Stores enough music for workouts/bike rides, etc. Setup is easy to use (this is our first MP3). Durable (stands up to our 4 year old). I like the fact that it has an FM radio. This is a great feature! If your not able to constantly update your music, you can switch to radio and not be bored during your workout. Date: 2006-05-02 won't last more than a couple of years I was very happy with my player for just under the first year, and then I noticed that the headphones seemed to be malfunctioning. I'd have to kinda push the headphone jack into the player a little harder and then it would be fine. Eventually, I had to not only push the headphone jack in harder, but wiggle it around to get the sound to come out like it should, and now my player is completely useless. It's not the headphones, it's the player unit itself. The headphone hole apparently is loose. I have used this player a lot, but this still shouldn't happen. This unit is not very durable. I have a Sanyo portable CD player that's over 10 years old that's been through heck and back again and the headphone jack on that is still perfect after being in several backpacks, dropped, used on exercise equipment, on airplanes, etc., etc., etc. That is one durable piece of equipment! So, yeah, I'm really bummed about my Sandisk player and now I'll have to buy a new one, and I will not buy another Sandisk player. they should stick with making computer equipment. I hope their new ones are better. I don't think I got my money's worth on this.
