Great for kids
I bought this as a first MP3 player for my 11 year-old son. He loses EVERYTHING so I was shopping for the lowest price but have been pleasantly surprised with the quality. It's worked out great for him, easy to use (especially loading songs onto it with the PC) and extremely small and light, even with the battery. I thought the sound quality was bad but realized it was the cheap earbuds that come with it; replacing them resulted in impressive sound quality for $[...]. The battery life is great but I recommend rechargeables. The radio and voice recorder are a bonus, especially if you are 11 and enjoy recording yourself saying stupid things!

Good for price
Well, I first got this mp3 player for my 13th birthday. I was ecstatic, this was my first mp3 player. It ran well for the first 2 or 3 months before I decided it was trash, but it had it's upsides....

Pros:
If you've got 70 bucks laying around the house: first of you're hecka rich. Second off, you could either spend it on this, or you could save up for a little bit longer and get something worthwhile. It's a great deal for the price.

If you're insanely conciencious about your looks, this is a pretty good choice for you. It looks cool without the cover.

If you drop things a lot, this little player would be for you. I've dropped it twice before, once while playing basketball, and once while carrying it in my hand... what can I say. I'm clumsy. Anyways, both times not a single bit of damage was caused exept for a scratch. Yes, this mp3 player is very durable (Exept for the joy-stick, it's really wobbly)

You can drag and drop! Playlists made easy. Just create a folder and put the songs in it and viola, you've got a playlist (I always sorted it by artist, makes things a hecka lot easier)

Now, all of you should know not to judge a book by its cover... or an mp3 player in this case

Cons:
Sound quality is absoloutely horrible. Have you ever heard a rabbit scream? Well that's exactly what the sound is like on this mp3 player. No matter how much you fiddle with the sound EQ, it still sounds the same.

Navigation is tricky, there's a slight lag after pushing a button to switch the song on pause it or whatever. Unless you made playlists, or organized your music in someway like that, it will take you a year to get to the song you want from the menu.

If you're like me you've got at least 2 gigabytes of music, this will only satisfy your need for music if you only have 200 mb of songs. If... and I mean IF you decide to buy this player, make sure to get the 1gb, or even the 512mb, because I can almost guarantee that your music library will slowly, but steadily grow.

Now for the big whammy, the biggest reason that I gave this player 2 stars..... the battery life. I can tell you that I mowed through the batteries like mad, I spend literally 5 bucks a week just for batteries on this stupid thing. I'd say you'll probably get 30 min - 1.5 hours TOPS if you have your volume all the way down to like... 5, and then you can't hear a thing.

Overall:
This player is good for the price, and has some good features as well. The radio is ok, but you can barely get any reception from anywhere. Sound quality is terrible. Very durable. But unless you're willing to match how much you spent on this player with buying batteries for it in 2 months, do not, I repeat, do not buy this player.

Great but small.
I got this player a little over a year ago. I was looking for a nice simple mp3 player that would just play mp3's and not much else. For that purpose this is about the best player you can buy. The thing that drives me crazy though is that when you start a song it fades in so you miss the very beginning, wich can be very annoying when you are listening to songs that have either lyrics at the begining or start right into one another.(Like Green Day's Holiday, into Boulavard of Broken Dreams.) Apart from the fading in, this player has an unbelivably small memory. from what I could get at 128 mps/second on wma. you can put 80-90 songs on the player. This is fine if you have a relativly small library but if you have a larger library then you will have to constantly add or remove songs wich can get annoying. The radio on the player is actualy very good and for some reason they let you toggle through mono and stereo. I actualy found the mono useful if you have two people listening to the earbuds at the same time so neither of them miss anything. The voice recorder is a little shakey but with the low quality of the sound you are recording, you could put hours and hours of recorded things on it. Supposedly you can delete songs without using the computer(wich would be helpful if you want to make a voice record but the memory is full) but after a while this feature somehow was disabled and I could no longer use it. Instead of deleting the old song it brought you into the record screen and started recording. The controls are very simple to use but what a button is labeled isnt what it does in every feature it has. The headphones that come with it have great quality but have one wire much longer that the other. while this is good for attaching it to your arm while jogging but it ruins being able to put it in your pocket while playing. Also the plastic case that comes with it isn's that good. while it covers the whole player it dones't fit the screen just right. The case also has little holes for the headphones and hold button and the usb cable wich make it at least worth using. The armband that comes with it dosn't stay to well on your arm if you have a thin arm. With a jacket it stays on just fine, but if you live down south you wouldn't want to wear a jacket. The screen is also much better then I ever would have expected. I expected a crappy little screen with numbers 1-80, but no, it gives the song title, the song time, the format it is in, and what folder its in. After a year of loyal service I finaly decided that it was just too small anymore because I had a 2 GB Library and it was irratating as hell to keep adding and removing the songs over and over again. I finaly sold it to my friend (...)and bought an iPod. Even though it is small it is a great little player and I would recomend it to anyone who wants to replace a CD player with something that dosn't skip to go running or work out.

Worst MP3 Player it is JUNK!!
This is a very difficult item to use and it breaks down! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

It is a good thing this thing is no longer available as it shows it is junk. Not even SanDisk has replacements!
