I love it, love it, love it!!! This is my first MP3 player. It's so small. (Sweeeeet)
Of course I thought I was computer savvy until I tried to put my own music on it. That was difficult until someone showed what to do. Now I've got my Rap folder, Tori Amos folder, etc.
I am very happy with my purchase. I love the FM radio also.
I am going to buy another one as a gift for someone.

Perfect Gift
As a newcomer in the arena of MP3 players I did not expect many functionalities (cos if you expect more you get less ,always!) from this one.

I just needed a device where in I can put my MP3s and just listen to them. This one not only satisfied my expectations but exceeded them.As a full-compliant USB device you do not need any additional software for you to load your songs into it.Just plug and play!.

It is very light and at times you will not even know its presence ..Just wonderful quality music coming from on the other end of your headphones.

Everyone complains about the controls but once you get used to it you will realise how intutive the controls are...CD that comes with it has manual which in my opinion covers almost all the doubts that you may encounter with its usage.

Moreover this one has a built in
FM and voice recorder. The quality of sound from its inbuilt radio is excellent.Recordings from its voice recorder are really good.

Many complained that the player gets stopped at one track or another but I did not face any such problems now.

One thing it must be taken into account is batteries.I would strongly recommend you to get a recharger /recharge-batteries so that you will be up and about all the time.
Battery life for this player (which uses 1 AAA) is around 8 - 10 hrs and when you have a recharger then you do not have to worry.

When I write this review I found the price to be about $59 bucks..Hmm..at the time of my purchase it was around $45 !.

Mom's take on this player!
I was looking for something small for my 13 year old son, and also at a decent price. I've heard the iPod shuffle can sometimes run into problems, and that the music sometimes gets into rotation cycles. This gem is not only easily downloadable, it still holds 60 mp3's, enough to statisfy my kid for now! (maybe we'll graduate to the larger model later). I can even work it --the joystick is easily manipulated. The player seems durable, no problems so far and he hasn't needed any "add ons" with it. The battery life is good as well. If you're looking for a starter mp3, this is a great way to go.

Great starter MP3
Bought this for my two nephews and then one for myself. It's great that it includes everything you need (although I did buy different earphones). I easily loaded songs and use it on the treadmill. It's so lightweight!

Think twice
An earlier reviewer mentioned that his mp3 player freezes. Mine not only froze, but sometimes turned itself on and off for no reason. This happened from the moment I took it out of the box. Then I downloaded some music and everything seemed fine ... until I tried to download more music and was told my disk was full. This seemed odd, since I only had about eight songs on the player. I deleted all the files and tried to start from scratch, but the player continued to tell me that my disk was full. This mp3 player has been a headache since the moment I received it. Suddenly the reasonable price made sense. The manual that comes with the player also leaves a lot to be desired. My advice? Buy something else.
