I don't write many reviews online but really wanted to for this mp3 player because I bought one recently and really like it. I've only had it a week or so but it is very easy to use, sounds great and the price is unbeatable. I'm very picky when it comes to the sound of my music and this player has eq presets AND a user defined eq setting. The way I have mine set sounds great even with the earbuds it comes with. I actually think the earbuds sound way better than the brand name ones I tried. The other things I like about the player are it has an FM stereo, lots of settings and is amazingly small and light. The plastic case that you can wrap around the player makes it durable too. You can even buy a lanyard and wear it around your neck. I highly recommend this and hope this helps! Date: 2005-10-14 Much better than I expected I just got this for a few hours and I am extremely happy with it. After reading so many reviews, I actually had low expectation. (I tend to focus on negative reviews to see if a product should be avoided) However, it performs flawlessly. The music match software is optional. You can copy the mp3 files directly to the device as if it is a hard drive. Or through music match. One negative thing which might be true is the interface. It took me a while to get a control of the device. It is not too user friendly. After all, I am excited. And I wish I ordered the 1G version because 512MB is really not enough. Date: 2005-10-13 Very Good Player considering size, weight and price Hello folks, I got my Sandisk 512 MB Digital audio player. I have been very impressed by a lot of features and there are a couple of small annoyances. The listed things are in comparisn to similar players available in the market. Listed as follows: 1. Very light weight. 2. Very Good battery life. 3. Very good FF and RW functions. Contrary to what has been written in some reviews here the FF and RW is pretty fast. The FF and RW are both about 15x approximately. Loosely translated if you want to fast forward 10 min of a 15 4. Very easy to navigate between folders and songs once you learn how to do it. WARNING: The procedure mentioned in the manual is wrong and incomplete. Experiment yourself a bit, it is not that hard trust me. 5. Decent FM reception. 6. Voice recorder is decent. You can record HOURS of voice and the memory wont run out. 7. Computer transfers are fast. 8. Headphones are decent. Annoyances: 1. The volume should have been more. At 40 2. Manual needs to be corrected. 3. If it was a jumpdrive that could be connected directly to a computer that would have been awesome. Overall it is still a decent buy for around 50$ rather than spending another 150 for an iPod. Well unless you need all that space then go for the iPod. Rahul. Date: 2005-10-12 great mp3 This is better than I expected. Very easy to load songs onto. great for workouts. And the radio is a nice feature. Who needs 5,000 songs anyway? Date: 2005-10-12 wonderful mp3 player It is a wonderful mp3 player and I bring it with me all the time. It is small, light weight, cool design, good quality of sound. The only disadvantages I found is that you can only delete the recorded files through a computer. Anyway, I will highly recommend it.
