Good Case, Bad Clip
3 months of use comments..
This is the third case I have used with my Treo650. At my workplace I have to occasionally pass thru a warehouse where I often have to squeeze between pallets of freight, so I need full protection for the Treo. My previous cases were leather with flip up covers that would easily open when snagged by something I walked by. This case has provided good protection from the elements, the weak feature is the spring steel belt clip that provides no positive lock while wearing on a belt. I have found that the case easily slips up off my belt when getting out of the car, the seat belt retracting tends to take the Treo with it. Dont expect this case to protect the Treo in a fall, the case is made of a flexible polycarbonate that twists allowing the latch to pop open in a fall.My latest Treo drop occured when I was getting out of the car while wearing a leather jacket with an elastic waistband, the Treo slipped up off my belt and then fell down through the bottom of my jacket to the ashphalt below where the case popped open with the Treo skidding under the car parked next to mine with the stylus going another direction. Much to my surprise, I turned the badly scratched up Treo on and it worked. I have now learned to be on guard for the clip slip, and find myself constantly pushing down on the case while on my belt just to make sure. The case is nicely lined with a thin lining of foam rubber and this has held up well with the exception of the point where the camera lens shroud makes contact where it has dug through the foam. Overall, I feel Palm has a good product here, they would do well to fix the clip though.

This case will damage your Treo
I used this case for several months before it became apparent that it was destroying the finish on my Treo. While it's "soft interior lining pads and protects your smartphone", this lining, unfortunately, does not extend to the areas that actually cradle the phone while it is in the case. At those points it is plastic against plastic, and the result is nasty looking gashes around the face of the phone.

Useful but not best thing ever, very stylish
I have this hard case for a few months now, it's very stylish, people always ask where i got it, cuz they never seen something like it before.
Bad thing is that when it falls with the treo in it it always opens up and the phone jumps out of it. the best clip is good if you're a business man that only sits and walks around without having to bent down to get anything.
Through all of this it's a good value.

Not what I expected
I needed a case to carry my Treo 650 in my purse and thought this would be the answer. Although it holds my Treo well, I have a couple of complaints.

The 'removable' belt clip is not removable. Short of breaking the top of my case I can't figure out how to get it off. (The instructions were useless) I don't need a belt clip in my purse and bought this case because the clip was removable. It now catches on things in my bag and is a reall hassle.

Also, the feel is a bit cheap. (Remember 'polycarbonate' is just a fancy word for plastic) This case has the feel of a kid's toy.

So I'm disappointed and feel a bit cheated that I got something this jinky for almost $30.

Palm 3202WW Treo Hard Case
The Palm 3202WW Treo Hard Case covers the Palm Treo 700 very well and has very nice quality feel but it opens to less than 90 degrees and that limits its usefulness. It appears to be designed to be opened while worn on the belt but only worn on your right side and opened with your right hand (it will be positioned upside down if you try to use it on your left side). So it is not a very flexible design at all and it is not a good choice to use when it is not clipped to a belt on the user's right side. You also need to be careful when inserting or removing the Treo in or out of the case to not scrape it on the metallic closure fixture. The Amazon price is good though. It would would be the very best available case for the Palm 700 series If it opened to about 150 to 180 degrees.
