iPod shuffle is a big hit
We got the hot pink iPod shuffle for our daughter and so far it has been great. To be more specific: the sound is pretty good, loading music is easy, the controls on the device are easy to learn, the battery life is good, the control locking is very nice, and of course you have the cool factor. Now there are a couple cons: no display, no way to jump to a specific song easily, and not a large capacity, but you are not really expecting those things from a little device like this. So overall, it's perfect to dump a bunch of songs and listen.
Now I have to add one more thing. Since iTunes is easy to set up playlists and such, you can easily change the contents and order of the songs.

LOVE IT!! Best for working out.
If you workout and like to listen to music or audio books, this is the best mp3 player you can get. It's small with no hard drive, so it NEVER skips. Easy to work with a Mac or PC (have both).

For me, the 1GB size is great. If you're only working out for an hour or two, it should be fine.

Kid Proof Ipod....
While most basic of the models, my kids love their Ipod Shuffles....a testimonial for the product: it went through the washer and drier in my kids pocket. Popped it back on the charger and voila...it worked! No joke...never written one of these reviews in my life its that durable.

Nice to Have
Arrived quickly and in outstanding shape just as ordering directly from Apple. It's small and easy to handle for my simple workout routine. That's all I needed.

If you know what you are getting it is perfect for music on the go
Yet another great simple device from Apple. I was skeptical of the iPod shuffle due to it lack of screen for navigation but after using it for a bit I'm won over. It does a great job of giving you a playlist on the go. Unless you are using it as a thumb drive there is no reason to get more than 1 GB.
