Much faster than type M
If you have a "fast" camera there is a big difference between type "M" and type "H".
For me on my Fuji6000FD it takes about half the time when taking a RAW image compared to type "M" cards.
Really big difference.

Fujifilm xD H card 1 Gb
The H on the card means HIGH (for high speed). However, this card is no faster than the ordinary Olympus xD card (w/o the H). So, either Fuji is behind in technology or they are using H as a marketing tool, misleading consumers into thinking they are getting more for the money. Olympus is making better and better digital cameras and they should seriously consider moving away from this proprietary memory type. It's slow and small (highest capacity available is only 2 Gb). Not recommended at all. For the same money you can buy a regular Olympus xD 2 Gb card instead.

Works great / Fast (enough) card
Besides listing that Type H cards are "2 to 3 times faster than Type M cards" I've not been able to find other specs, given that write speeds are "variable according to camera settings." A site for Olympus Type H cards lists write speeds of up to 9 MB/s and read speeds of up to 15 MB/s. At any rate, it's definitely a lot faster than my previous Memory Stick card, and apparently they use up less power than other cards.

Check the Fujifilm (dot ***) site for compatibility with cameras and card readers.

Great Value
Amazon offered an excellent price that couldn't be beat. For the price I paid, a 1GB card was worth it.

Note Type M and H xd cards are incompatible with some card readers!
Note Type M and H xd cards are incompatible with some card readers!

I have a Fuji camera and bought an xd card type M. But it turns out that type M and type H cards are not compatible with all card readers (even ones that work with regular xd cards) so I have to use my cable and camera batteries to upload photos from my new card, or purchase a new card reader. Ugh!

Buyer beware!
