This four-digit LCD scale features a 0-50g range, can also read in grams, ounces, carats and grains, and has a resolution of 0.01g, more than sufficient accuracy for tonearm adjustment. It has tare function, which means it can accurately weigh material placed in a small container such as a vial or bowl. It's truly tiny (100x80x19mm; about the size of a pack of playing cards), weighs only 80 grams, and will fit in your pocket, yet has a larger and very readable display. The slightly bowl-shaped platform is near-perfect for phono use. It's powered by two CR2032 button batteries (included), and shuts itself off after a minute of inactivity should the user forget. Included are a leatherette case and a clear plastic protector lid to keep the weighing surface clean. This is just the ticket if you're looking for a gift for the record enthusiast in your life. This scale comes in a colorful display box and carries a one year defective exchange warranty.
User Submitted Digital Model 55 Tracking Force Scale (Stylus Gauge) Reviews Date: 2006-12-09 "NOT EXACTLY" a Stylus Gauge Just got this little made in China jem in the mail! To be honest this is "NOT" what it says it is. IT IS A "ELECTRONIC MINI POCKET SCALE" (SEE BOX)that can measure up to 50g. Yea it will measure your stylus pressure but you would never know that from the box or the lack of Stylus Gauge instructions provided. The scale instructions are very crudely written and not helpful.
