User Submitted Lexar Media Professional 4GB 133x Speed SD Card ReviewsDate: 2008-09-18 Card Reader not Included as advertised Product description states that a USB 2.0 card reader is included. I ordered product and it did NOT come with a card reader! To date, Beach Camera has not made good on this issue. What I ordered is not what I received. The product description is incorrect and misleading. Buyer Beware!! Date: 2008-05-10 Great Media Works great with no data loss. Enough said. I use this in my Nikox DX80 and have trusted it to dozens of photos. One tough memory card. Date: 2007-07-22 Excellent speed and reliability For some reason, retailers are having a lot of problems posting the correct picture of this card so if the picture switches back to the Class 4 card please consider checking with the seller in advance to confirm you are ordering what is listed. The 2 gig version of this card can be found here: Lexar SD2GB-133-380 Professional Series 2 GB 133X Secure Digital Card (Retail Package) Regarding Lexar's MP cards, for some it may be overkill but these are extremely reliable and well performing memory cards. I have one 2 gig card, linked above, which is approaching 500 formats. Excepting a handful of errors related to an older firmware expansion for my camera (S3 IS), I haven't had a single corrupted image. The contacts show very little wear considering the number of swaps. I haven't done any of the hardcore benchmarks but, short of the need for reliability, this card far exceeds the write speed of the camera. In terms of use, this card is geared for and priced for the consumer class dSLR's and may be overkill for the compact point and shoot market. Outside of photography, there is another area where this card is invaluable. If you use a Pocket PC or similar device, the build quality and reliable nature of the MP is a good safety net for storing files. Lexar tends to be pretty honest about their speeds so the read/write times will also provide improved performance.
