User Submitted SanDisk Sansa Shaker 512 MB MP3 Player (Pink) Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-12-08 not so hot got this for my 4 year old and my 8 year old... my 4 year old loved his but they just kept not working he took very good care of them but still just kept breaking and my 8 year old thought they were to baby looking.. got 3 different ones for my youngest and still don't have one that works then some family bought their kids some and again still don't have one that works out of all of us so no way would i buy this again Date: 2008-12-06 excelent for younger music lovers i bought 2 of these for my boys ages 5 and 6 to use on a 1000 mile trip to chicago. they were a huge hit! super easy to load up with music using your windows media player. they both have about 100 songs on them, and there's still room for more! easy for little hands to operate, and really durable. good battery life although i do recommend rechargables. the speaker on top is a big hit allowing them to listen to their music without the headphones. they've had them for about 2 months now, and they're still going strong. a really nice mp3 player for not alot of $$. Date: 2008-12-02 Fun practical product. Should be priced under $20 I keep one handy when play with two year old, wake him up or play music when he plays in the tub. Extremely user friendly. Speaker and headset quality is fine given the price. Con: Plasticky. I can see it break in 3-6 month Battery and memory cover keep fell off. Have to keep it in place with a plastic band. I have to keep tracking it in the house. Date: 2008-11-26 Worked great for a while... The good....I loved that I could let my kids listen to music without worrying about ear damage from headphones. The form factor was great and it was much smaller in person than I realized (a positive). The bad.... it had glitches in the first couple of weeks that required me to take the battery out. Then it just stopped working. Wouldn't buy another one. Date: 2008-11-23 Not easy to download songs It is a great idea, but not easy to download the songs to the player. Everytime I was able to put a new song on, one of the songs already on, would be gone. Also, the bottom opens easily. My son enjoys it, so that's all that matters.
