No fear of parental controls for wifi, as there is none, but can watch movies, view pictures, and listen to preloaded music,and even the radio. My kids LOVE the touch screen! I haven't had any problems! You can contact the manufacturer for the converter software, and even download a GREAT PDF manual, not like the one that came with it, with all the info you need to get up to speed. Anyone who sees it can't believe how little it cost. I recommend for anyone!! Date: 2008-12-18 A fifth of an iPod touch in price and features I think the title says it all. This costs about a fifth of an iPod touch and does pretty well for the price. Despite colorful images shown here, do not expect it to have anything even close to the polish and finesse of an iPod. It has an ersatz feel to - the screen is unresponsive to say the least, the buttons are hard to move around etc. However for that price what can you expect? Date: 2008-12-17 Worked good for the first day, then broke Do not waste your time or money, just get a more expensive one that won't break in the first day. It broke within the first day. I recommend Sansa or Phillips. It has much better quality and still at an affordable price. Date: 2008-12-16 I was disappointed. This video works well for images, good screens. But you can't fast forward the audio to the section you like. So to hear the part at the end of a 20 min dialogue, you have to listen the entire sequence! That was very disappointing. The disc that they sent me cannot install. It kept on saying error message when I tried to install it. (I use Vista) I tried to load regular avi files to mp3, and it says "format error." I tried this more than 10 times, with different avi converter available online. Again, disappointed. How do I get a replacement copy for the avi-converter? Can you send me a link? If not, I have to return this for a refund. The advertisement(which even included a camera which it doesn't have) exagerrates too much. Date: 2008-12-15 Awesome player for the price The music sounds awesome. The touch screen fubctionality is cool. The radio picks up the stations well. Easy loading from pc (basically works like a thumb drive). Also has a slot for more memory. The video player and recorder will be used like crazy by my son. The only fall back was the game that came on the player does not use the touch capability. I serched for other touch games on the internet and I could not find any. regular button games work though. My son wanted an i-pod touch, and this product will deliver the same functions (except touch games) at a way lower price (like $150 cheaper)
