User Submitted SanDisk Sansa Clip 1 GB MP3 Player (Black) Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-12-12 A great little guy... I just got one of these and I like it a lot. It is a nice size- not as tiny as some players (a shuffle for instance) but small enough to fit in my pocket and the screen is a nice size too. It has FM radio and voice recorder, thought the recording isn't the best quality. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the very small amount of music I could fit on it. If I were choosing again, I might get something with more storage space, but for the price, this one is a great little guy. Date: 2008-12-12 Great sound quality and price! I picked this up at a local retailer yesterday for around 29 bucks. I've wanted an MP3 player for years but never really liked the cost of them. Anyways, this little mp3 player (it's REALLY little in size) has some great sound quality. It has a FM radio, voice recorder, and a customizable equalizer. Of course, like most mp3 players, it will resume your song if you stop it. It will also resume the last song you played if you switch to FM radio (which remembers the last station you were on and has preset station slots you can add to). The screen is pretty bright, displays, the song title, album battery display, all that jazz. It was actually a little too bright so I turned it down quite a bit, still not quite as dark as I want it. It has a certain amount of time before it does an auto screen turn off so the brightness doesn't other me too much. Now one thing that's important of course is sound quality, which this little baby definitely has. I usually use preset equalizer settings so I didn't really have the bass quality I wanted at first, even then it sounded nice. A friend told me how to optimize it and it sounds superb now. Oh, that's another thing I love about this player. The ear buds. I've gotten other players with ear buds that constantly slipped out of my ears. I have pretty tiny ears so I've never found ear buds that didn't constantly fall out of my ears. These are really comfy and fit so well. That may just be The cord is also longer than I'm used to so I can clip it to my pants with no problem with cord still to go. Ok so I've rambled on about what I love about it. I will say one downside is the screen gets very smudged quickly. Easily remedied of course with proper cloths and/or a case. When pushing the main button sometimes I push the clip to the side somehow. As long as it holds up I have no problems with it for now. I'm very happy with the purchase of this MP3 player. It does what it needs to do and then some. I recommend it if you want a simple MP3 player and don't mind the 1gb space limit. Date: 2008-12-12 good sound This is a pretty powerful mp3 player for its size. Great for working out w/. Light and portable! Great price, too. Date: 2008-12-12 Perfect product, GReat Design. This is the perfect product for what it is designed to do. Great radio reception and a strong clip. I use it running because it's tiny like the ipod shuffle, except WAY cheaper and WAY more functionality. People buying the ipod mini or shuffle just want to look cool, when this is obviously the superior product. Date: 2008-12-12 perfect mp3 great item recording feature alone makes it well worth the asking price. my son wanted an ipod, but i got this instead in the hope that he would like it . he loved it. he has a blast playing with the recording feature alone. small size great sound feature battery life. all for 29 bucks. it cost more to buy a replacement battery for an ipod. tim
