User Submitted SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-11-27 Works great! I purposely purchased this MP3 player for my trip to California. I needed something to keep my occupied during my flight since I was traveling by myself. This little player worked great! I downloaded my entire MP3 collection from my PC and was entertained the entire trip to and from California. It has served it's purpose well and it will be traveling with me again to California next summer. Date: 2008-11-24 so easy to use I love how I don't need to learn about a service, 'Itunes' to use this it is so easy to use and small, so that when I go running I just clip it to my shirt collar and it never gets in the way Very pleased with this product Date: 2008-11-23 love it! My wife wanted a small clip-on mp3 player for work to help "drown out" some noice around her and didn't want to spend a lot for an IPod. We read good reviews on this mp3 player and decided to get it. It was very easy to load music and easy to operate and sounds great! She has a new job now and doesn't need it for the purpose we got it for but uses it in her car with an adapter. Now I want one for my car too! Date: 2008-11-20 Good device I ordered the SanDisk Sansa because my iPod mini was starting to lose its battery life. I wanted a cheap, small mp3 player that could store a decent amount of music. The 2GB of space is enough for me, especially since I can sync it to Windows Media Player and have it load random songs each time. It's very lightweight and has a solid build. Occasionally the player freezes and I have to reset it to fix it. It can be annoying, but it's not permanent. The SanDisk sansa is a very good product and I use this device pretty much every day. Date: 2008-11-16 Great device I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed with this little gem after 6 months of use that i really thought I should share it. I always looked for a small mp3 player that I can clip on clothes (I also have an ipod shuffle that I really like, but not for music but podcasts - for music I like to see on a screen what I am listening to). I read about the sansa clip, ordered and got it. Right at start the sound quality impressed me quite a lot - I think it is great. I then realised, that using MediaMonkey you can rate music, and sync your ratings back to your PC. So I have really enjoyed the clip. What was a complete surprise after 5 months of use, that a new firmware upgrade is available that will allow FLAC lossless support. This brings this little gem to a completely new level - basically a tool for audio enthusiasts. If you have your CDs ripped to FLAC (due to sound quality), you can sync that to the clip, rate it, and play it both on your sansa but also on a serious home equipment with a DAC and amplifier. The downside with the sansa is that sometimes it broke down and fixing it required some time searching for solutions on the internet. Also to set up the option to rate music with MediaMonkey it took some time and thinking - it does not just work out of the box. In this respect the clip is not comparable to the ipod shuffle (Apple will always win on design and usability). But once you fix issues what you get in return is just great. I still can not believe it only cost as much as it cost.
