works
The card seems to work fine in canon cameras. I have noticed that after taking about 2000 pictures in 3888x2592 a few times and then reformatting the card to recover space, the card does not return to the original available space. Some bad blocks can be excused but if the bad block rate keeps up at the rate I am experiencing in less than a year the card will have to be replaced in order to carry the picture count I need for a day's active shooting.

Huge Size for my Camera & PC
This allows me to run my video over 30 minutes and hundreds of picture at 8 mpix resolution! It also works well for data backup and file transfers between conputers. I can put my whole 2-3 week vacation of pics and video on it and carry it in my pocket for saftey!

POOR !
Had two of these, one original, one replacement. BOTH failed upon being formatted in a Vista PC. Bought a 'Brand' name localy and had no problems.

Not compatible with some cameras, and has a capacity problem, becomes 8GB
With a Hasselblad it becomes 8GB. (7.3 to be exact)
With D300 it works as a 16GB.

After formatting it becomes 8GB.

With windows Vista Format, it takes years to finish formatting, so I had to stop and reformat the "quick" way.

SUMMARY: There's a problem with this card. Like some other 16GB cards. It seems to have 2 sections with 8GB each.

Don't forget that, even Windows Vista SP1 can NOT format it then. That is, apart from Hasselblad, at least it is not even compatible with Vista.

Great for MP3s
I bought this card because I wanted an MP3 player with a huge hard drive, but I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for something that I couldn't drag and drop music into without going through a 3rd party (i.e. iTunes.) I already own an ipaq pda, which has a Windows music player and a CF slot. This card works perfectly! It does seem to take forever to load music, but since I loaded up about 50 cds at the same time, I guess it had to take a while.

I haven't tried it in my camera, so I don't know how quickly it will take pictures, but for MP3s, this is perfect!
