16 GB Transcend CF Card
I bought this card just to make videos with my Fujifilm S9000. Fuji, or any other camera manufacturer will likely tell you that they have no experience with supersize cards like this for video purposes. Took it on vacation and the only problem was with the camera time counter. It resets to the maximum available video time after each scene is taken. Based on the camera recommendations for video time with smaller cards, you can easily extrapolate to how much time you'll actually get with this card. In my case it was four hours. So.....if you don't really care how much time you have left and can extrapolate from smaller cards this thing works wonderful. I got about 1 1/2 hours of vacation "footage" with no problems at all.

Highly recommended.

Don't format the card when you clear it off!!!!!
This is a great card, would have gotten 5 stars if it didn't go from a 16gb card to an 8gb card. Thanks!

Word of advice, when clearing the card off, DO NOT FORMAT IT, delete everything.... My card is now only 8gb and trying to reformat it on OS X or WinXP still pushes it to only 8gb. I have no idea how to restore the full amount of space...

Other than that, the card is fine. I just wish I had the other 8gb now...

good card.
This 16gb CF card from Transcend seems to be a good card for the low cost. works well in my Nkion D200. Is faster then my Sandick ultra II. Over all a nice card for you DSLR Camera.

Pretty darned good card
Other reviewers have trashed this CF card because of speed issues. The one I bought performs as well as any other 133X CF I own (others by SanDisk, Kingston & a 4gig Transcend). I can shoot blazing fast bursts with my new Sony DSLR A700. Totally meets my needs. Maybe it's a bit below the needs for CF computing - but for a camera it's very nice. And I get 2700+ photos in Fine mode at 12.2 megapixels a shot!

High capacity but maddeningly slow
I bought two of these to use as a Solid State Drive in my laptop. They do the job but only barely. Storage capacity is certainly enough. Bootup time is cut by more than 50%, from more than two minutes to less than one. Battery life is extended by about 20%. The laptop is silent, responds quickly and is a much nicer machine with its improvised SSD. The only drawback, however, is a big one: installing applications is agonizingly, maddeningly slow. Orders of magnitude slower than the old hard drive. It probably would have made more sense to use more expensive, faster CF cards or wait for the price of purpose-built SSD's to fall to my range.
