User Submitted Sandisk 8GB MicroSDHC Memory Card w/ MobileMate Reader (SDSDQR-8192-E11M, Retail Package) Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-04-18 Works Great This is a great product with a very good price! I will definitely be purchasing more. I am an engineer - computer geek, I have tested two of these. They are fast reliable compact. I am a very critical person if you ask me to find something to complain about it would be the following. I can not complain about the memory card. The design of the card reader requires that you align the card perfectly before you insert it. This is only because the card reader is the size of the tip or you pinkeye finger. The only other thing is it gets pretty warm when you copy large amounts of information. It does not get hot enough that I would worry about it. On last thing, for those of you that have a Windows Mobile 6.X device it is my understanding that any version 6.0 or greater will support cards greater than 2gigs. I have a Cingular (AT&T) 8525 that only supported the 2gig card before the update to 6.x. Enjoy! Date: 2008-04-18 Awsome, Easy, & Nice Adaptor I rarely write reviews, but this product deserved a good nod. Not only did the 8MB micro card work as promised on my T-Mobile Wing, but the USB adaptor made this easy to use with non-SDHC devices. This worked so well I am considering a second to use as a flash drive in my laptop bag. Date: 2008-04-15 Super Clever How did I live without this!?!? Simply pop the SD card into the USB adapter, plug into your USB port, and you can click and drag anything you want - it's awesome...! Better price than direct from Sandisk Date: 2008-04-08 Please ~ Do Like I Say, Not Like I Did. There's nothing wrong with this great product -- it was pure and simple stupidity and operator error. Like one reviewer wrote, do not sneeze when handling this card! ((S)he wasn't kidding!) I had to use a pair of tweezer to get it out of the tiny reader (no nails). The card bounced off the carpet and straight into the heating system air-intake vent ... Had to order a second card 5 minutes later (after having expelled a lot of "French"). Date: 2008-04-02 Good Device but Check Specs for your Phone FIRST Not all phones can handle a memory card this big. Nokia 810 and others can. As of March 2008, an 8GB memory card was not recommended for blackberry curve (according to my local TMobile dealer). However, the specs for these devices are always changing, so I would recommend that you call your cellular carrier and ask for their blackberry support people. The 8800 is not the curve. Save yourself trouble and find out what is the largest memory card supported by your device BEFORE ordering memory.
