Efficient and Easy

The HP iPAQ 211 Enterprise Handheld is a very efficient and reliable personal data assistant. This PDA has served me well for many months.

Several years ago the medical schedule that was prescribed for me became very difficult for me to manage. Frequently I would forget a dose of medicine or overlook a required activity. After numerous missed doses, my doctors asked me to get a PDA. My occupational therapist recommended this HP PDA to help me manage my medicine and regimen.

While working with the HP iPAQ 211, I found that most operations are easy. After a short time I entered the times and doses for each of my medicines. This PDA allows a person to set an alarm that is tough to ignore (my wife can hear it two rooms away). If I ignore the alarm this machine will remember and remind me occasionally until I mark that the required event has occurred.

In addition to helping manage my schedule, the HP PDA has several other features: A calendar, a notepad to keep track of tasks that need to be preformed, a calculator, and games. There are probably more features that I have not noticed as I use the PDA only to manage my appointments, my schedule, and my tasks.

The operation of this PDA is smooth and easy, once a person learns about it. A very nice CD, that functions on your computer, accompanies the PDA. The CD not only teaches PDA operation, but also sets up a connection with your PC to allow even easier management of your activities.

I highly recommend the HP iPAQ 211 Enterprise for anyone interested in a simple instrument to help manage their activities.

WORTH IT!
I did'nt even had to read the instructions, is that easy to use. Is light, perfect size and a decent screen size. It works great for me and what I need it for. I am glad they make this device with internet service as an option.

Very Poor Service
The HP Ipaq is an excellent product. I made the right choice in a good pda. My compaint is with Amazon.com. I believe that they misrepresented their service and delivery. They say "3-5 days by USPS". After a couple of days, I received a notice from Amazon that my pda had shipped with the USPS.

After six business days had passed, I asked Amazon.com where the product was. They told me that they don't actually sell products and my complaint was with the company that had sold the product.

I then called the USPS and asked about the package. They told me that it had only entered the USPS two days ago. They also told me that there is no such thing as 3-5 day delivery with the USPS. They said their delivery was 2-9 days.

As I said, my complaint isn't with HP which has an excellent product. My complaint is with the promises and shipping policies of Amazon.com.

Fastest return on record
I have been looking for a replacement for my old Palm handheld, and hoped that the HP iPAQ would be it. Unfortunately, the one I received from Amazon had non-functioning software. I was unwilling to pay HP for a correct version of the software, and Amazon couldn't help me. They did authorize a return very promptly, but I would rather have had a functioning piece of equipment. Not to worry, though, I found a refurbished Palm T|X from an Amazon vendor that works just fine.

Great PDA. But..........(See Review)
Great PDA! Functional and a great addition to my regular PC uses.
One thing that puzzles me... What the heck is that plastic piece,
on the top of the unit, adjacent to the memory card insert?
It slides out easily on my unit, requiring me to place a piece
of tape over it to prevent accidental loss.
