Awesome little Sansa Clip
This thing is so cute and little. I was suprised at the sound this has for being so little. This is my first mp3 player and so far its awesome. except 1 little problem I have is that the earbuds dont stay in my ears, they keep constantly falling out. I think they are a little big but thats what came with it and so then I purchased those Inked Skull Candy earbuds and those have awful sound so back to the original ones. And when I am home and not going anywhere I just attach my Sony earphones and they make it sound even better.

Nice player. No included AC adapter for charging--uses USB off computer.
I thought about getting a player with video capability, but since I mostly just want to listen to music I decided to save myself the extra expense. Plus I wanted something compact and video playback would make the player larger.

I purchased this little 2 GB player on sale at Office Depot for around $40. It was also availble hot pink and classic black--I got the fun hot pink--yeah, I'm female. The player is feather light and is a big plus since I want to use it while exercising. I had a great set of earphones so I haven't use the ones that came with it and can't comment on them. I haven't taken out a ruler and actually measured it, but it looks to be about 1.25 inches wide by about 2 inches tall and has a belt clip on the back.

The display is small but easy to read, with bluish lettering on a black background and the battery status displayed in yellow toward the upper right corner of the screen so you can see how much power you have left.

Set up was easy and it can be synched with Windows Media Player making your music file transfer easy. Music files can also be dragged and dropped. Windows (I am currently using XP Pro) had no problems detecting the player once it was plugged in and I imagine Vista will prove equally easy. Sound was good for both my MP3s and FM radio. The FM radio can store up to 40 preset channels, which you can edit and can auto detect channels for your initial set up if you wish to go that route. The player also supports WMA, secure WMA, and Audible audio file formats. Music files can be organzied by album and song genre and you can make playlists for your listening pleasure. The unit can also act as a recorder.

I haven't used it long so I will edit these comments if I run into issues down the line, but so far so good. The one con is that it charges using the USB port on your computer, so you have to remember to put it on to your computer when it is on. It can use an adapter for charging, but it does not come with the player so must be purchased separately.

The player comes with a software disc for those who want to use Rhapsody, but I haven't installed it and don't use that service so I have no comment on the included software and if are any associated issues. I prefer to listen to my own favorites or to the FM radio. Thanks to Amazon for providing some free MP3s that we all can download. So far it has fit my needs nicely and the 2 GB can store hundreds of MP3s so I am happy with my purchase.

My sansa
I bought a sansa clip for myself in april 2008 and bought my aunt one in july 2008 for her birthday she had it till november of this year and it stopped working. I believe that the product was defective. My sansa still works so it was just her model. Sansa is a good brand but be careful because they will stop working out of no where. The only time my aunts works is if it is plugged into the charger but if its not then it does not work at all. So just beware that this can happen to you.

Tiny and Pink
The built in clip is really nice. Bright, easy to read display. Uses a standard USB mini-5 connection. The battery life seems a little short.

Great MP3!
If you're looking for a MP3 player, don't look any further! This little MP3 is small enough to fit in you palm or your pocket! It holds up to 500 songs. The battery takes 3 hours to charge when it's all the way low though. And you can record, get the FM radio and just listen to music. It has a clip-on clipper on the back so you can do anything while you listen to music. In the package it comes with a cord to connect to your computer (to download songs and charge), an instrusction booklet and headphones.
I like this one the best because it can record clearly, you can view music while you're still listening to music, rate the music and a lot more!
