Not Compatible
I can't believe the card, I had to find out the hard way it doesn't work with any of my devices and my camera, laptop w/card reader and stand alone card reader are all less than 2 years old and it doesn't work with any of them. The right up implied that it would work with relatively newer devices, but didn't define newer as being something bought in the past 2 months!!!!!! Just a waste of money.

runs warm
I got the class 6 8gb when it was still too much to not gripe about a few things. It does work, and fixed my 10mbit camera well...until I ran a recording for more than 5 minutes. This chip gets hot. It is straining to do 9542 kbyte. I build my own pc and 120 degrees for ram is darn near panic, expect mistakes. * months with it and it still works, but now am gladly moving on to san disk with a 20mbit advertised, (extreme 3). I would use this on the worlds biggest photo camera at any fast shooting, but for the bigger dvd and hd avchd etc, I do not recommend it.

As good as any Class 6 SDHC
based upon the price I purchased this card for use in my Canon Rebel XSi. I compared the card against one of the cards I bought that touted to be the fastest and great for digital cameras costing about $50.00. I could find no difference in the perceived speed at which the 2 cards worked in the camera under the same shooting conditions. The costs of the cards is so good that I would recommend them without hesitation.

Very Dependable Transcend 8 GB SDHC Memory Card
I used this card in a point and shoot Panasonic TZ5 and a full feature model, the Panasonic FZ50K, in single shot mode and video. The "write" times are significantly faster than the SD variety. If your camera takes the HC standard, by all means purchase this card.
Be sure to check whether your card can be downloaded by your card reader, as the old SD readers are not compatible with this standard. However, newer HC memory card readers are backward compatible with the SD's.
This is an extremely cost effective solution for your memory needs.

So far so good!
1 month and the memory hasn't failed - Plenty of room for movies and pictures! Great value.
