Dead Zune
Product was DOA, would not take a charge. Returned to Amazon and bought replacement from local dealer.

Wouldn't even turn on
There must have been a manufacturing error, because the Zune did not work at all. After some phone calls, Microsoft is replacing it with a new one. Hopefully it will work.

Zune 8 GB Rocks
Nice price. Easy to set up & easy to use. Sleek and light. I'm done with Ipods.

Wonderful, beats the competition
I got this Mp3 player to replace a dead iPod nano 1st gen, i have had the nano for a long time (4years) and it was a good player, i got it as a gift so i cant complain about the price. but the Zune is a great competitor, the software is great, and interface and the quality of the audio and video are out standing, the price is remarkably lower than the competition.
and the Zune software is ALOT better than iTunes, at least for me.

i would highly recommend this to anyone.

the only bad thing is that you have to hold down the play/pause key for a couple of seconds to send the device to sleep and is not automatic like the iPod, so you end up forgetting it on and loosing alot of battery. nothing that cant be fixed by a firmware update in the future though

Had to return 2 of them to Amazon...
Bought it... recieved it... locked up and wouldn't respond... sent it back... got another... recieved it... locked up and wouldn't respond... sent it back... for a refund.

Long story short... I ended up upgrading and buying the Zune 16. I just figured that the 16 GB hard drives wouldn't act up like the 8 GB hard drives. Turns out I was right. I love the Zune 16. I really don't have anything against the Zunes, except that the Zune 8's kept locking up. Go for the Zune 16 if you are having the same issues as me. Just released a new update with some more games. Keeps me busy in the down time.
