 The best and worst things about Apple's IPods are how beautifully they are designed with the shinny chrome back and blush white finish on the front. The worst part is how easily this beauty can be ruined by a simple scratch. Luckily there are products on the market to protect your precious IPod and BoxWave is one manufacturer who provides these products. One such product is BoxWave's FlexiSkin case.
The FlexiSkin is a complete soft and durable case that not only protects your IPod from scratches but also gives some protection from bumps and hard knocks. Below are the FlexiSkin's main features:

The model used in this review is for the IPod (Photo) 60GB in the Frosted Clear color. As mentioned in the features list, the FlexiSkin comes in 3 different colors. I chose the Frosted Clear because it is similar in color as the IPod itself.
Inserting the IPod into the case was fairly easy, but due to the texture of the FlexiSkin case, it does tend to stick to the IPod making it take a bit of pushing and pulling. This is a good thing because it completely holds onto the IPod so that it will not accidentally come off.
I really like the smooth and soft feel of this case. It definitely gives you the feeling your IPod is protected even if it is dropped. I of course have not and highly do not recommend you test this. The FlexiSkin case actually makes the IPod feel like a totally new device.
One really nice feature of this case is that it makes your IPod not slip easily on any surface. This will help from accidental slipping off your desk for example. It may also help secure your IPod to the dash of your car.
As mentioned, the FlexiSkin case will protect all of the shinny surfaces of your IPod. However, there is no protection for the screen or the click wheel. I highly recommend you also invest in some form of screen protection including BoxWave's own ClearTouch Crystal screen protector. Please feel free to read our BoxWave ClearTouch Crystal review.
The FlexiSkin case comes with both a neck and wrist strap. Optionally, you can purchase the model with a detachable belt clip. One thing I noticed on the straps is that there is a metal ring on each. This may not be a problem, but I am afraid the metal could scratch the unprotected screen or click wheel while in your pocket.
Conclusion
Pros:

The BoxWave FlexiSkin is one of the best non-hard cases I have found for the IPod. It completely protects all shinny parts of your IPod from scratches and is soft and durable to protect your IPod from bumps and knocks. I was disappointed that there was no protection for the screen and especially the click wheel. However; I tend to find this is an issue with most cases.
Overall, I highly recommend the FlexiSkin case. I do however, suggest you purchase some form of screen protection as well.
